Jared Lazerson has spent 25 years in the mineral exploration and technology industries, and in that time, he has seen how this sector can go wrong when operators treat communities and land as afterthoughts. His approach at MGX is built on the inverse: relationships first, projects second. As the founder and CEO of MGX Minerals, Jared oversaw the raising of more than $50 million and the advancement of a diverse portfolio spanning gold, magnesium, lithium, silicon, and clean energy technologies. In 2018, he accepted the S&P Global Platts Metals Award for Leadership in Base and Specialty Metals on behalf of MGX—one of the sector's most recognized performance distinctions. Jared lives in British Columbia and has spent his career navigating the real complexity of operating in regions where land carries deep cultural, environmental, and economic significance. He understands that trust is earned incrementally — and that the project's pace should reflect the pace of the relationships that make it possible. He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and brings that background to every engagement with First Nations, government bodies, and industry partners.

Andris Kikauka is a professional geologist with more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration across Western Canada. His technical foundation was built at Goldrea Resources, where he served as Project Geologist from 1996 to 2012, overseeing systematic exploration programs at scale. Andris brings the same disciplined, evidence-based rigour to MGX’s active programs, ensuring that every drill hole, surface sample, and resource estimate is conducted to the highest technical standard. He holds a B.Sc. in Structural Geology, Mineralogy & Petrology from Brock University, and currently serves as Project Geologist for Rio Minerals and as a director of American Manganese Inc. Mr. Kikauka is Project Geologist for Rio Minerals and a director of American Manganese Inc., which is focused on mineral properties and commodities used in the steel industry. He holds a B.Sc. in Structural Geology, Mineralogy & Petrology from Brock University.
