Who we are
A focused team. A long-term commitment. A different kind of exploration company.
About MGX
MGX Minerals Inc. is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company with over a decade of experience, focused on the Fran Gold Project in British Columbia.
Our approach is deliberate by design. We invest in relationships because our work is very personal. It’s connected to where people live, raise their families and often rely on for wellbeing.
Hailing from B.C. ourselves, we know the importance of ensuring the work we do includes ongoing reclamation and the opportunity for all partners involved to participate meaningfully in our economy.
WHAT SETS US APART
1
We know what it means to live near this land.
Our team is rooted in British Columbia, living in remote areas where we understand the value of being good stewards.
That perspective shapes every decision we make, from where we operate to how we communicate and who we hire.
2
Global experience.
Locally applied.
Founder Jared Lazerson has spent 25 years working across the mineral exploration and resource development sectors, raising nearly $100 million, discovering more than $4 billion of in situ resources in B.C., advancing projects from the ground through development, and operating at a scale spanning Canada and international markets. That depth of experience helps guide every program MGX runs in British Columbia.
3
Direct access.
No layers.
When communities, partners, or investors engage with MGX, they engage directly with the people responsible for the work. We navigate complex concerns through listening and direct action.
Simple, effective and open communication is at our core.
OUR APPROACH
We show up
Relationships are not only built over email. We make it a priority to be present in the community near our projects—building familiarity. That is integral to how we operate.
We're honest
We will not overstate what we know or overpromise what is coming. When we engage with First Nations and communities, we are clear and realistic about the process.
We're committed
We know the importance of reclamation on an ongoing basis. We use the same equipment used to build, as we do to reclaim, during that specific program.
